Vienna CC lost their semi-final against eventual tournament winners, Austria CC Wien in Graz. In the final, ACC beat hosts Afghan Steiermark CC to take the trophy. ACC’s Shivam Subhash was awarded the trophy for best bowler, while Shadnan Afridi (ASCC) collected the award for the best batsman. Vienna CC’s attentions will now turn to the VCC Wintercup, taking place in Vienna on 22-23 February 2014, with Vienna CC and UCC Seebarn being joined by Lords CC, CC Bayern München, Warsaw CC, Wansted CC, Failand & Portbury CC and Touregs CS.
Vienna CC defeated CC Velden 91 to proceed to semi-finals
In their final group A fixture at the Masala Trophy, Vienna CC defeated CC Velden 91, to proceed to the semi-finals of the competition, where they will play against Austria CC Wien. ACC Wien finished top of group B, with Cricketer CC finishing as runners-up, so hosts Afghan Steiermark CC, who finished top of group A ahead of VCC will play Cricketer CC in the first semi-final.

Vienna CC squad for Masala Cup in Graz – 1-2 February
Vienna CC will be travelling to Graz to participate in the annual Masala Trophy on the weekend of 1-2 February. The team has been drawn in a group A against the 2013 winners of the Masala Trophy, Afghan Steiermark CC, CC Velden 91 and Austria U17, with the top two teams going through to the semi-finals of the competition, which has become an annual event since it was started by Graz CC in 2007.
